This item had a scent that seemed to be some kind of coating or finish on the plastic material that this enclosure is made of. My cat sniffed and licked it, and I noticed that he became ill. He started drooling nonstop, and was leaving puddles of drool all over my apt. He was increasingly lethargic. I was so worried I had to bring him to the vet. They gave him an anti nausea shot and probiotics. I packed up and returned the enclosure immediately, and after a few days, he returned to normal. He hasn’t had the problem since I got this item out of my home. I’m writing all this in the hopes that the company will take note and do something about whatever poison they are using to coat or disinfect this product, and for other pet owners awareness and caution with this product.

The size and appearance is great, and it actually does seem sturdy. Unfortunately, the synthetic material (it’s PE rattan material, not actual rattan) has a powerful smell that I’m just hoping will go away once it’s had more time to air out. This may be less noticeable in a more well-ventilated room, but the strong smell has actually stressed out one of our cats.

This enclosure is a great hub for all things related to my cat’s bathroom usage. It comes with 2 hooks that can be used to hang tools inside or outside the enclosure. Make sure to be mindful of the measurements before purchase, but I find it to be perfectly spacious for my cat’s litter box. The woven pieces feel like a soft plastic which are easy to wipe down. It was also easy to assemble, especially because it is way lighter than I expected it to be. My only issue with it is how unstable it seems. It’s held together by minimal screws, so it is a bit weak. The doors do not align well no matter how I adjusted the screws, and the knob that keeps them closed does not sit flat. Also, you can place stuff on top of this product, but I would be wary of how much weight because it seems so fragile.

This product is a large furniture style cat litter box enclosure that is made of handwoven rattan in a dark brown color with other color options available. Its dimensions are 30.5in L x 18.5in W x 28in H making it a good size that will fit in most areas. The enclosure is easy to assemble that comes with a large grey cat litter mat to catch any loose cat litter for an easy to clean setting & it can hold small to medium-large cat litter boxes inside while also doubling as a tabletop or plant/vase holder. The enclosure has a nice look that is made with sturdy metal legs & is light in weight (14lbs) making it easy to transport & it’s also foldable, the current price listed is a fair value.

We got this in hopes that the dust from the litter would be more contained. We have a huge stainless steel litter box and were nervous it wouldn’t fit but this is a GREAT size and the doors are super convenient for cleaning out the litter box. I put in 2 cat mats on the inside to contain the litter from his feet and to make it more comfortable for the cat’s feet. There is plenty of space for the cat to get in and out.

We are very happy with our litter box enclosure. No more litter all over the floor, and the wicker provides good ventilation.

Honestly great. I recently made the switch to stainless steel litter boxes (those are great by the way), but when looking for a cabinet to go with it I discovered that everything was too small and short. This, however, is big enough to fit my 16x24 litter boxes and has plenty of headspace so my cats don’t feel claustrophobic! More so, the rattan lets in a bit of light and allows for proper airflow so my cats are actually willing to use it. It’s also incredibly easy to put together and can be used with or without the base. Bonus points: The entrance can be switched to the other side! My cats love laying on the little bed up top!
