Very warm and easy to use. My dog loves it! It’s the perfect size and very comfortable. It has great functionality. What a great value for the money.

We get a lot of use out of this heating pad. Right now we are using it to warm up our baby's changing pad, as it currently is very cold and the surface can get quite chilly. As a result, it has been thoroughly tested in terms of spills/stains and thankfully it has held up well thus far. The temperature settings come in low/high, so not a ton of ability to customize the temperature, but keeping it on low is the perfect temperature to ensure that it is safe to use for its current purpose. I think that this heating pad will likely still get plenty of use after winter ends, as we have a house full of dogs and cats who I think will appreciate it as much as we do.

So I've been testing this with my cat. My cat isn't too fond of it. I'm assuming because of the material. It's plastic type. Not a cloth on top. When you turn it on, it doesn't stay heating. I noticed my cat has to be on top of the heating pad so it stays warm.

My foster cats love this heating pad. I think their only complaint is that I did not buy a bigger one or buy more of them because only one fits on it at a time.

We use this in the back half of our dogs kennel, so she can move on or off of it as she wants. It has worked great so far, it's only $20 so no washable cover is to be expected. However because of that it will probably only last us a winter or two, she's one of those dogs that gets stinky within 2 days of having a bath.

I leave it on low and it keeps my boy nice and toasty during these cold nights. It has proven to be quite durable, surviving not-so-athletic pounces onto it!

I've tried for a week to get a picture of my cat using this heating pad. She lay down on it immediately when I first plugged it in, but she didn't stay long and hasn't used it since.I think I know why. I think she doesn't like the unpleasant chemical odor that appeared as soon as it warmed up -- and I don't, either. Packing materials say to leave the bed "spread out" and the odor will "dissipate in weeks." Well, maybe if you have a garage or basement to leave it in that might work, but I don't want that smell in my small apartment for "weeks."On the positive side, it appears very well made, and heats fast, and would be just the right size for my cat. I really wanted to recommend this ... but that odor!

My husband likes to have a heating pad (for humans) on his lap. Maisy, our 8 yr old 12 lbs shima, likes to sit/lie down on the pad then she’d start panting, the pad gets hot even at low setting but won’t come off it so my husband would turn the pad off. This pet heating pad is perfect for her, perfect size too. I put it in an old pillow case, set it on low setting. It didn’t even smell when I first turned it on & still doesn’t smell. The cord is short, perfect when her bed is on the floor. I use an extension cord when she’s on it on my husband’s lap on the couch. Heats up quickly after switching on. Temperature settings are high & low, we only use low for Maisy & it stays low during use, doesn’t get any hotter. The material feels strong & durable. We don’t fold the pad, not advisable anyway, we don’t do that with heating pads for humans either. We don’t let her be on the pad unattended & keep the pad off when not in use.
