I'm shocked. I own a very, very long fur kitty. She is gorgeous. HATES to be brushed. Temps heated up quickly here and she is matting fast. 3 knots. Can't cut them because it's just too close to her skin. Been trying to brush them out to no avail. Figured I would give this a try. Sprayed it on...4 strokes of the brush and the knot was out. 2nd knot, 2 strokes and it was out. No blood was shed which was my favorite part. Definitely a keeper. And the smell is delightful.

we just took in a stray and had him fixed. he was still in his starving phase with food so with the surgery he got fat. he is doing much better now but then he got so big he couldn't clean his back around the tail part. We bought this immediately as brushing found 2 mats. Ive never had a cat that matted and this was an unusual case. we did use it and it did help. we were then able to cut the hair. Once the hair grew back the other kitties groomed him and he has not had a matt since. sometimes you just need a little something for a moment, that was the case here. the scent didnt bother him and i sprayed it into my hands then put on him. in case the spray sound might bother him. quick shipping package around safely. recommend

Oh this stuff is amazing. I literally never leave reviews. My cat is older with many ailments and has stopped grooming himself as well. I didn't notice until recently his whole belly was matted and I felt like a HORRIBLE cat mom. I genuine thought I was goingt to have to shave him, but its winter and gets cold here so I was worried! I tried just combing it out with a matting brush and he would cry so I knew it was uncomfortable if not painful for him.I got this detangler spray and wow! The comb glided right through! No meows no tears this is amazing! He'll look spick and span all the time now!

The jury, as they say, is still out. The scent is pleasant, but the effectiveness of the product is still being evaluated. Smaller amounts of matted fur seem to have resolved themselves, but the two larger areas are still unresolved. Not sure yet that I'd recommend this product. Still trying.

There is a contradiction on the the label on the bottle: "NOT for human or animal consumption..." Yet, the "Directions for use say: 2. Lightly spray entire coat. 3. If needed, apply more generously to trouble areas. 4. ...Repeat as needed. HOWEVER: " Ingredients list: plant based suactants derived from coconut and palm,..." My vet advised me that SUACTANTS are a type of SOAP --- and this would NOT be a good product for my cat to ingest at all. (I would assume for Dogs either.) I returned to vendor for full credit.

Cat didn't like the sound of the spray bottle. Had to put it on a cloth first. It helped, but I eventually had to cut the matting out.

I bought this detangling spray for my long-haired cat, who struggles to groom her back due to her size. The spray has worked wonders! Her coat looks much better, and it’s been so easy to use. The formula helps remove tangles without stressing her out, and it leaves her fur soft and smooth. I’ve noticed less matting since I started using it. Highly recommend for pet owners with cats that need extra help with grooming!
