This does not hold a 20 pound cat unless they are demure in stature. I have a large male cat and he did not fit in this. It was cramped. I returned this product. What made me angry is that I had to PAY to return this item. As a Prime member this was VERY Disappointing. Buyer beware! The carrier is nice overall but not for a tall or larger cat, honestly don't think it would hold a 20 pound cat.

Great price for a convenient carrier! I have large cats (around 18 lbs) and they were very comfortable in these. It is sturdy, material thickness is good, very well made with sturdy zippers. we love it.

Very happy with the quality and design of the bag. It feels well made with good materials, the zippers all work well, and the straps and handle are secure. Both ends open as well as a top hatch, and the little pad it comes with is nice to have, especially if the cat decides to pee while being scared out of their mind in the car. Our kitty is still tiny so she has plenty of room to move around in here. It also collapses when not in use for storage.
