My cat LOVES it, she’s very treat motivated and this toy really keeps her engaged. For anyone that says it didn’t come with instructions there is a video on how to assemble it if you scroll through the product photos here on Amazon.

It doesn't include instructions, but there is a video in the item description on Amazon. I'd recommend adding a QR code to a YouTube video with some audio narrating the assembly, but it'll do.I couldn't figure out how to get the springy ball to stay firmly in the base. If you bend it far enough, it comes out of the base. But your cat has to bend it pretty far to get the treats out. The alternative is to put a ton of treats in it. I didn't want my cat to eat 20-something treats at once, so I put a few in there. Unfortunately, she still hasn't figured out how to get them out on her own.So that's the BAD stuff. The good news is it's pretty sturdy overall, and she does seem to be very interested in pushing the balls around and around on the base of the unit. She has spent hours with this thing. I can't say that I don't like a product that entertains my cat endlessly--especially a toy I don't have to replace batteries, nor do I have to worry about hiding it because she'll tear it up. There's a lot of good to this product!I'd post videos or photos of her playing, but every time I try, she wants to play with me instead and runs towards me!

There were no printed instructions included with the product, but I did find a video in the product listing that showed how to put it together. Once I watched the video it was a fairly easy assembly and the wooden parts seem to be good quality. I like that this version has the larger treat holes, which makes it more versatile. I don't have to be as selective when purchasing treats. The little guys like to play with it, but they have not figured out why a treat suddenly appears or where it's coming from. They at times will play with the roller balls together, one on each side smacking them back and forth to each other. I'm glad I got this for them. I did feel a need to knock a star off for lack of printed assembly instructions or a little note to where to find them online.

This has no instructions. But after looking at the product photo I was able to put it together to a state where it does in fact work. I filled up the dispenser and my cat was able to fish the treats out in record time (then proceeded to throw it all up but that's not the toy's fault). The gummy black nib is necessary for keeping the antenna in place, it requires some force to insert into the hole of the top with the antenna, just as a heads up!

Couldn’t figure out how to put the thing together so unfortunately not even sure how well it works or if the cats would like it!
