I haven't been able to get out on the water and test it yet, but so far this seems like a solid trap.I really like the design and the way the trap folds up compared to the other ones I have that keep their circular shape and have to be pulled straight up. If it has any issues after use or ends up rusting quickly I will update this review.

I took this trap out crabbing this past week and tested it out. The quality of the make overall is pretty good. It opens and closes fairly well. I was able to haul in several crabs using this trap. It can be a little difficult getting them out sometimes because they're caught up in the netting, but that also prevents them from falling out as easily as you're pulling up the rope. This is a great trap for using in still to slow moving waters. It worked well for me, so I'd recommend it.

Kind of heavy to cast out but it works, just don't use a lightweight rod and you should be fine.

This crab trap works well once you get the hang of it. It’s sturdy, with a stainless steel frame and durable netting, which makes it reliable for crabbing. I appreciate the foldable design—it’s compact and easy to carry, especially if you need to transport it a lot. The 110’ rope gives plenty of depth, and the bait pin holds everything in place securely.Casting it can be a bit tricky due to the weight, so I wouldn’t recommend using a lightweight rod. Overall, it’s a well-made trap that delivers good results.
