Doesn't really have a good functional purpose. It doesn't protect player from any damage other than cosmetic. Holes do not align: charging port hole is a little off-set, whereas headphone hole is completely misplaced.

Awesome and easy to put on and off of my G1 mp3 player. Only thing is I need to put a decal to the back of the black case to add some color contrast, but that's in no way a negative point I just tend to misplace things that are black because so many of my things are so yeah anyway, great value, easy on and easy off.
