I wanted to be so overwhelmingly bored with this item that I would just forget about even leaving a review .I purchased this for my job. Trying to save myself some time and frustration, as I wouldn't have to put in a request for ink for the stamper I use multiple times in a day. Thought I had gamed the system. Giving it to the man! Get my own stuff for work, don't have to ask, wait for it to be remembered and then wait until retirement, because the employee named SOMEONE took it for their desk.Guess who had the ultimate laugh? NOT ME!It was completely dried out, and I hadn't even removed it from the shipping package to keep SOMEONE from taking my stuff out of my desk.I think Murphy (law) and Karma (biotch) had a baby, and they named it MY LUCK!Thanks for the little zippie bag it came it. I'm using it to hide staples under my desk!

This ink works great and I haven't had any issue using it. One thing I liked is it washed right off of my rubber stamps. The seal is very hard to remove as previously noted, and I wish it was sold in a smaller quantity of three or four instead of one or six being the choice.

I bought this to refill my “identity protection” stamp. I was able to do so easily and on I went stamping. My issue is not with the ink but I think these stamp gobble up ink or I need a different ink designed for that use because it feels like I am constantly filling it now every couple of days. I have a lot of junk mail :

Long lasting. Used to freshen the ink pads to make paw prints at work. So far lasting quite the long time.

Its just ink and it does the job at a really low price. Read all the reviews about how hard it is to get the seal off. While I do agree it does not peel off easily with the pull tab, if you just pull slowly until some part of the foil breaks away from the edge and work that part around to slowly remove it comes off easily. Just don't grab and yank on the pull tab. The hard sponge on the top makes dispensing the ink easy. No issues with me .

I just opened this product - I had read multiple negative reviews about it but ordered it anyway. It was not hard to open if you are careful. I got a tiny bit of ink on my thumb but could have avoided any ink if I wore gloves. I fixed my self-inking personalized stamp within minutes - just squeeze the bottle and some ink appears at the top of the sponge. A few dabs onto the ink pad and my stamp works as good as new. I even changed my stamp color from blue to black and it works great so far. There is enough ink in the bottle to do that probably 30 more times. As stated, I just got it so I'm not sure about the longevity of the ink, but certainly there is enough ink in the bottle to last a long while, even if the stamp pad itself dries more quickly. I definitely recommend this product for an outstanding price!

Exactly what I needed. My husband used this to re-ink an antique typewriter ribbon for me. It worked perfectly! Now the type looks like it would have 100 years ago, when the typewriter was new. Bold, black ink. Doesn’t smudge.

I don't like the sponge on the end. It is hard to get the right amount of ink on, either to much or not enough.

It's a bottle of ink... :-)Under the screw-off cap is a felt-like applicator that is flush with the top of the plastic bottle. To ink-up something like a pad, stamp or roller, I point the applicator down and give the plastic bottle a slight squeeze, the bottle is pretty stiff so you'll have to put some pressure into the squeeze, please do this directly over over some newspaper just in case Murphy's Law happens to kick in.The Avery Carter's Stamp Pad Inker is probably designed to recharge stamp pads but I've managed to recharge some of my self inking stamps with a little disassembly of the stamp, I also have a rolling "stamp" of sorts that's used for obscuring your name & address on junk mail, that's a little bit harder to recharge with ink but it's doable. All in all, it's a good product.
