I so much wanted this to work. I measure lawns, patios, yards, retaining walls, etc every day for work. To have something that measures the perimeter of something and then also gives you the square footage inside that area would be a HUGE time saver. But this unit is not that. I measured 3 yards with this unit and got WILDLY inaccurate measurements. I'd measure the same yard the exact same way 3 times and one time it would tell me it was 3600 sq ft, another time 5400 sq ft and another time 4,600. Same results all three properties I tested it on. Not accurate at all. Very disappointed.
