This is a pain to install, but that's not the device's fault. Any vehicle that requires this adapter you're probably better off with a different car seat or car, but you're here so probably not a choice for you.It is HEAVY and made of sturdy powder coated type material. The two plastic brackets are comparitively flimsy, but work fine and aren't part of restraining your kid, so should be okay.This is basically just a big metal bracket and it does what it is supposed to, so five stars!
