I extended this cover once, literally once. Within an hour, had to get something out of the trunk and tried to retract it. Wouldn't retract. I returned it immediately. For $100+, you'd expect a better spring system but no.

Just put it in my 2013 X3 m sport. It fits perfectly. Keeps everything out of sight.
