I have the PackTalk system on my helmets for our ATV's so when we (my wife and I) got a pair of Ebikes we still wanted to talk, The boom mike is just the right length but I did have to add some double sided tape because the curve of the helmet and not much real estate to stick it on but it works.I then got a pair of earbud speakers with the 3.5mm jack, search Amazon for B078SLC6J4 but any earbud should work, even the ones the airlines give to watch the little TV.We love being able to communicate while rides bikes or ATV's.

Wife and I own and ride Ebikes. Wanted a way to communicate safety issues and such while riding .Had the Packtalk Bold and used them for communications on snowmobiles so it was a natural dovetail to use them on the Ebikes.Got these two helmet mount kits and installed per instructions. Both boxes had appeared to be opened when I received them but fortunately nothing was missing.Install was a breeze but due to Curvature of helmet had to install 3M double sided tape on opposite pads of the self stick surface .Once installed had to pair to my phone . That allowed me to answer phone if needed,Communicate with my wife and listen to music if I wanted. What a bonus!!The system of Packtalk bold and boom Mike works good but to make it work best you need to ditch the helmet speakers and purchase a Bose Noise canceling QC-20 headphone kit . With the addition of the Bose you will no longer hear wind noise ,engine noise or any other distraction and voice will be crystal clear. You will still be able to hear car horns ,people talking and any other danger sounds that might be in your orbit. All in all the kit price is admittedly high but when you get all the pieces it really rocks the house.Hope this helps.

Been using the competitor brand for 2 years and was looking into upgrading when I heard about Cardo brand and wearing a half shell i totally needed this. So easy to install and the boom mike is very sturdy and well built.

I bought this mostly for the ability to talk on the phone. It took days to get the intercom connected. It was finally set up by a rep. It worked for one day and would not connect again. The music comes on all by itself. I am constantly saying Cardo MUsic Off. If I say Cardo Music on, it never works. It like the thing is possessed by a demon lol.Now I use it just for the phone. It has a good battery life. It is easy to take off and charge. It will not charge while riding, as the charging wife falls out easily. The phone works well. At 80mph the person on the other end of the can’t hear the wind. You have to talk in a normal voice level at all speeds. If you raise your voice because of the wind noise, your voice will be distorted. It feels like you are whispering into the mike at high speeds. That’s how you have to do it, and it works well.

Callers cannot tell I am on a motorcycle when traveling 60 mph. Noise cancellation is awesome. Installation was easy (installed on a half shell and a modular helmet. The waterproof characteristics made this unit superior to the others. Not ever having to touch you phone makes this unit worth the cost (voice commands work great-you must talk at normal volume for voice commands to work).

Works great for two riders because that is all I tried so far. Had some difficulty linking the Packtalk Bold to my Roadmaster just because I had trouble understanding how to do it. Once I watched videos and got help from friends it works great. If listening to music or radio and talk to anther rider, the sound decreases like promised. You can also adjust volume and other controls via the phone app. I really like the scrolling item on the headset to increase and decrease volume - easy to find while riding, even with gloves on. One caution when pairing... be patient and give the units some time to connect. I was pushing buttons too fast so had trouble linking at first. One other piece of advice, treat your MC as the "hub" for the rider. First bluetooth link your phone to your MC (left side of roadmaster phone screen). Then turn off the phones blue tooth to prevent interference. Then follow directions to link the packtalk to your MC (right side of MC phone screen). Once it is connected you can turn on the phones bluetooth and you should be good to go.
