The original carb on my Stihl BR450 leaf blower was beyond repair due to the original owner leaving gas in the tank, carb, etc. for over two year. I pulled the old carburetor off and used this new kit to replace it. It was a direct replacement. I had to spend about 5 minutes adjusting the low and high idle after replacing the carburetor, but it runs like new now. I’d highly recommend it!

Simple tuning, cheap, slight tuning was needed but performed straight out of the box.

Carb was a dead match , however the air filter does not cover the frame like factory one leaving a possibility of dirt getting past , and fuel line is plasti like material not rubber , so gets hard and cracks , fuel filter and pick up are not same open as factory one leaving me to believe it’s just future problem probably next year ! Just going to stop at factory dealer and replace those items

I have used Stihl BR450 blowers in my business for many years . Best blower ever made. I had one that was running really bad after several years of commercial use. I had left it out in the weather for a year thinking it would go to the dump. Then I saw this kit and thought I might as well try it. After pumping the primer to fill the carb it started on the first pull. Had to adjust both needle valves for best running but it ran like a brand new machine! Really. No smoke, starts and runs better than it has in years. All the parts fit and function well. I didn't use the fuel line because I already had a high quality rubber one. So glad I didn't throw the blower away.
