Frequently-asked Questions & Answers

Q1: Why pump is not running?

A1: When pump is not running the reason would be: 1. the power supply is not connected or wiring is faulty; 2. Internal components are damaged by ingress of impurities, falls or hit. Please: 1. Reconnect wires correctly, red wire is positive, black wire is negative; 2. Tell us via Amazon message for a relacement.

Q2: Why pump is running but not absorb fuel?

A2: 1.There is Leakage in fuel inlet pipe; 2.The inside of the pump is too dry or there is air inside. Please: 1.Check or change fuel inlet pipe. 2.Drop 5-10ml fuel into inlet of pump to lubricate.

Q3: Why it is low flow?

A3: The pump is installed in a high position. Please install within 12" (about 30cm) height from fuel tank.

Q4: Leaking problem

A4: When installing the filter to the inlet, too large torque may due to nut loosen and cause leakage. I installed a 27 horsepower Subaru Robin engine in a golf cart and ran across the problem feeding that Beast fuel. So I bought this little fuel pump which definitely did the trick. Might be a little Overkill but just what I needed. Was easy to install and wire up.

No son suficientemente buenas. Las probé todas (10 piezas) y las lanchas no avanzan mas alla de 40 km/hr cuando deberían ir a velocidades superiores !! No me sirvió pero ya no las puedo devolver porque ya paso tiempo

Installed in a boat as a primer pump. Functioned for about one hour, used intermittently, then seized up and blew the fuse. I have a second one of these in a fuel polishing system and it is still operational.I've updated my review. I notified the vendor of the issue and they issued a full refund. I may have just gotten a bad pump from the factory.

Bought this little pump as I need to defuel my boat. Got tired of manually pumping. This pump works just fine. Not its intended purpose but suits the process just fine. Going to keep it around for other side jobs once done. Not very noisy. Did not get hot. Direction of flow clearly marked. Plugged in hose and connected power to get the job done without any problem.

Does everything I want for my Holley 650 4 barrel carburetor on my truck -1975 IH 1600--------------------I have been asked a lot of questions by people from Amazon about this fuel pump. The biggest question I get - will it work on a particular model. Sometimes I can answer that question, while others are not sure. When it comes down to carburetors each has a certain PSI for fuel pressure rating. These need to be match. If a carb is rated @ 6psi then the fuel pump should be @ 5 PSI or a little less . If you get too much PSI, the float in the carb WILL NOT shut off. This will cause the carb to flood fuel everywhere in & on the engine. Not enough PSI might cause low fuel delivery. The other item is GPH {gallons per minute}, in most cases this is not important issue, unless you got a rocket vehicle that needs massive fuel delivery. Also I have been asked about the mounting positions, I always try to mount it feet down and also close to the fuel supply {tank} as possible. A general rule to any type pump, it can push liquid farther than it can pull it {from tank}. Hope this helps.
