Not much more to say. My requirements do not include difficult materials. Mostly acrylic resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin and urethane resins. Occasional aluminum.

I tried them out on aluminum after using regular carbide cutters and yes indeed, these really remove a lot of material and leave a smooth finish. Great find for me.

Mini lathe was having some poor finish with the inserts for steel so I bought these alminum inserts and the sharper tip helps.

Work way better for aluminum than other, non-polished inserts. Very sharp cutting edges that leave a clean cut and don't gum up the chips.

I can't speak for other insert brands but I specifically bought these because my inserts, while they can cut aluminum fine, can't properly break the chips and so I constantly have to deal with birds' nests. These preform much better and properly break the chips given the right speeds and doc.Next time ill try out their button inserts for finishing.
