Don’t bother. Yes they are cheap but they won’t run even when everything thing attached to them is new too they are a waste of money!

Not used yet. Engine received undamaged and quick. For roughly 30% of OEM price I don’t expect much but function. Visually it looked perfect but when it was rotated a rough spot was felt. Oil down cylinder didn’t help. Pulled it apart and found that too much sealer was used on base and crankshaft was ticking the lump. Also sealer had gotten in clutch side bearing and caused damage to the bearing. The rest of engine looks correct so I will put in new bearing on and reassemble. Only buying these parts is cheaper than new saw of this size but not much.

The engine was above my expectations after reading past reviews about the mounting bolts being different,, how ever I went to my local hardware store and purchased 4 small washers ,4 M5 x25 Allen bolts for mounting the engine and 2 M5x20 Allen bolts for the coil mounting bolts. So far th engine is working flawless for my customer. I will definitely consider this company for my future needs . The price was perfect helps me stay in business. Being a small engine tech for many years and owning my own shop, I never put cheap parts on. Well, my ms170 finally gave out. If you never bought Stihl factory parts, sit down when you do. The saw new is $199, to rebuild with factory parts would have been over $300. That said, I began looking for a rebuild kit, still expensive. I came across this on Amazon, I figured well, if it works a little while, I'll be ok. After putting it on and prep starting with mix oil in the cylinder, 1 pull and it run. I have to be honest, it runs better than new! I also went from a ms170 short block to a ms180. Don't hesitate to buy, start all your screws before mounting to cut the new threads, put a cap full of mix in the cylinder and turn by hand a a few times. And, my shipping, it came Sat after ordering Fri..... What else could you ask for
