I had been struggling to remove the wiper arms from our vehicle. The mice had gotten in, and the windshield cowl had to be removed for a thorough cleaning underneath. The splined section of the wiper bolts had really seized onto the wiper arm assembly, and nothing was budging. Initially, I had trouble aligning this tool over the bolt - it fit underneath the wiper arm just fine, but would slip off the bolt because it was off-center. The key is to not remove the nut entirely from the wiper arm bolt. Loosen the nut so that it is almost parallel with the flat end of the bolt, it should be a bit proud. Then place a coin over the end of the bolt, and then clamp this tool down. The coin (I used a penny) protects the end of the bolt and evenly distributes the clamping pressure. Pull the hinge of your wiper up, so that it is lifted away from your windshield glass, and press on the arm between the hinge and bolt assembly. I didn’t have to push hard - both arms came free immediately. Great tool when you use the coin trick!

This puller is a hot mess Y'all. First thing is that the knob is so small!! it is difficult to get a good grip on it, it may work for a toddler. The person who designed this thing placed a ball bearing at the end of the screw, with the base of the vice being so flimsy the ball rolls of the spindle. So now I have to return this thing and go purchase another

It’s more dumb that you need such a specific tool to remove wiper blades. I needed this to take them off my 2015 Ram. Worked just fine.

Needed to pop off a broken back windshield wiper. Post was rusted to bolt, item was durable enough to put some extra pressure on it and get it off fairly easily.

I tried this on my gm windshield wiper arms, but it would not fit between the wiper arm and motor arm.
