A flashing red light would make any crook hesitate and think that there is some type of security/alarm armed. These arrived without any instructions, but after examining them, I located the micro USB charging port and a tiny on/off switch beside it. Just give these an initial charge and then place them where they will get some sunlight, switch them on and they should continue to run until you turn them off. Place these anywhere that you want people to think there is a security/alarm system like your car, RV, home windows, etc. The included 3M adhesive tape will hold the device in place for a super simple installation.

Very realistic car alarm light. Good price and works as it should. Sticks easily to vehicle. The bright light can be seen from far away. Very easy to use, just set and turn on. The device charges with solar power.

I have the blue color. Mind you this little gadget is very powerful deterrent to potential car break-in. I like to put the combination of blue and red. It resembles police car light when it blinks in altenate. Good concept of who is ever inventing this idea. Thumbs up!

The key to good property security is to make the thief decide to go somewhere else, rather than rip YOU off.Even a simple lil` blinking light can go a ways towards accomplishing that, simply by creating the fear of an alarm.This is a low-tech gimmick that masquerades as a high-tech alarm system.The objective is obvious, and the design is a good one.Convenient charging options add to the value.

I am super glad I bought this alarm light. It is extremely reliable and has a built in solar charger so it charges all day andj starts flashing when it gets dark. Each flash happens around every 10 seconds, which seems like a long time, but it flashes pretty bright and will likely deter anyone who is snooping. I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't have an alarm installed on their car.

Just a small little blinky light.It's not rain proof at all so it needs to be indoors... or in a car but in the sun to charge.It probably won't get enough sunlight in a car long term which is mostly shaded by the roof,so it will end up discharged but we'll see.It has a micro USB port to charge it or wait for solar.It stops blinking to save battery power when there's enough light.It also has a charge status indicator for the USB charge input.It's a small plastic housing with a small battery, a little circuit and a tiny solar panel.So far it works but not likely to work in winter when it's cloudy for days or weeks.

“The goal of an alarm system isn’t to make it difficult to break into your home. The goal is to make someone else’s home look like an easier target”.Along these lines I'm a big fan of fake alarm system signs, along with a budget real one and cameras of course. I have many signs around the house highlighting the presence of an alarm system and cameras. I think this car system is a great idea too. I received them and immediately fully charged them (USB wasn't provided). They blink if switched on every few seconds and work inside, but as soon as they go to the window they'll stop. I guess it is only for night and very low lighting situation.I put one on the car dashboard, and the other will actually go on my garage door. I already ordered more and the others will strategically go in a window on the back and front of the house.Every little bit helps to deter an intruder. They have a split second to decide if they are going to take the risk, and if they literally see red, they usually (and hopefully) won't!

It's fake! but the item did list as it is fake. It's a fake alarm mimic real car alarm flashing light red, it will blink until battery runs out. I bought it for my cars which had been parked in the front and I rarely drive anywhere with it, it's old car, does not have any kind of security system, so I bought this to make robber think twice before robbing my car, at least they will skip my car if they see the flashing red led. It's bright enough for people to see.The only problem I have with it is installation, the only way is to attach it to the dashboard, but if your dash doesn't permit much sunlight, the solar charging may not work work well, it may not charge your battery and thus will no longer work, it's a solar power charging but also include micro usb charging. So I highly recommend charging it with usb then use it and hope the solar will charge it daily. I wish I could attach the whole thing to the windshield glass, it is small enough that it will not give people notice that it's fake.
