My wife and I are full time RVers. We volunteer year around at various state parks. Our RV refrigerator is the typical freezer over refrigerator unit. It does its job but we were limited on the volume of cold items we could bring home when grocery shopping. We bought this cooler and use it as a refrigerator. We leave it under our picnic table so it is exposed to outdoor temperatures ranging from 32 to 105 degrees. I set it at 42 degrees and it stays at that temp regardless of outside temperatures. It has never failed. Two other Host couples purchased one after seeing ours.

Update:The unit works great, handles not strong but customer service responded quickly and sent new handles.Works well except it's pertty heavy and the handle broke after the first use. The middle bar comes out and the surrounding plastic broke. Very difficult to manage without the handle due to size and weight.

I love this little cooler. It sits on my deck under a hard top gazebo. It is deep and has more room inside than expected and holds plenty of cans & bottles of soda. It also holds food when there is not enough room in my fridge. It maintains the temperature that it is set at, and I love the fact that it has a light so when I need something at night, I don't need a flashlight. I do have a small plastic cover that I set loosely over the top and slightly down the sides in case of blowing rain as Mother Nature is so unpredictable. So far, so good! 2 problems I encountered are it is a bit heavy empty and would be difficult for me to lift it into the back of my Jeep and the cord could be longer as it limits where I can place it on my deck even though I have 3 different outlets at my disposal. These are just inconveniences because so far the performance is great!

I live in an rv and I've had this thing plugged in constantly for 2 months. Works very well. Only issues I have come to have is the plastic nub on the lid has broke some how and the lid pops off every time now. But other than that I love itContacted support. I was willing to buy a new lid if available. But they are sending one to me free of charge. Now that's customer service

As soon as I picked it up with only small amount of weigh inside (12-18 cans of Pepsi) both handles instantly detached from the portable Refrigerator, it isn't lightweight to begin with, it happened without warning and fell to the ground had my cat or dog or small child had been underneath it could have seriously injured them! I contacted the company and they offered UPGRADE handles and offered to send them to me with a video of how to install them! I warned them and told them that is WRONG to continue to sell a product that needs recalled! They did refund my money and told me to keep the dangerous contraption! That is all good and well but I told them what I really want is for them to stop pushing a dangerous product to consumers! It isn't right they are selling a Knowingly defective dangerous very potentially harmful product! They have been warned if ANYONE gets hurt ANYONES CHILD PET or DAMN FOOT gets injured they have been notified of the defection and that it should be recalled! I will testify on your behalf in court that I have notified them and they admitted knowledge of the issue!! Thank you for readingNow To the seller...I'd stop selling it and talk to your distributor as well!

We've been testing this for well over a week now, and are satisfied that it should work well for a long time. We will be using it for camping, so we will have it set up without the divider, and have it set for normal refrigerator temps. In ECO mode, the unit is allowed to fluctuate several degrees, but not so much that we would be worried about our food. It's fairly quiet running in the house, but that opinion may change if we're running it inside our tent at night. A couple of things to consider if you plan on keeping the divider in, and running the left side as a freezer: since the digital control is only regulating the left side, the temp on the right will be several degrees warmer. Plus, the right side is a considerably smaller area (the compressor hump takes up quite a bit of space). It takes a little practice to get used to making adjustments, but isn't difficult once you get the hang of it. I recommend getting one or two cheap thermometers that you can use to check the accuracy of the temp settings. They're not perfect, but close enough for our purposes.Kudos to Stella, the rep who responded when we contacted the company with questions. She is very helpful, and fairly quick with her responses. All in all, we a very happy with the 48qt unit so far, and it appears to be well made.UPDATE: 6/13/24We have now taken the fridge with us on two 3-day tent camping trips, and are still very happy with it. We plug it in (in the house) the night before we leave, and start loading it as soon as it gets cold. Again, we're not using it as a divided freezer/fridge, just a refrigerator only (without the divider). We load it with milk, meats, cheeses, and whatever else we can fit in there. In the morning (right before we're ready to leave), we load it into the Subaru Outback, right behind the driver's seat, so we can plug it into the accessory (cigarette lighter) outlet. That way, it stays cold all the way to the campground. We use a dedicated heavy duty cord to power it (in other words, nothing else plugged in to the same circuit), and it keeps things cold, even when the temps hit the upper 80's. We try to keep it in the shade during the day, and in out tent at night (and when we're away from the campsite. The only real weakness we've found is that the handles do not instill confidence when carrying while full. The way they're designed puts an odd stress on the handles, and they could come out of their swivel point if over torqued. We try to carry it with a hand underneath the unit if we're lifting it up into the car or similar. TBH, neither handle has popped out of place (yet), but you can see how it could. Other than that, we still highly recommend the unit.

What a convenience for Thanksgiving. I was able to stock all the seasonal items in the cooler and keep refrigerator somewhat orderly and keep from running back and forth to the garage fridge. Used as a freezer at -1 and then converted to using as refrigerator (I did not use the divider) at 36 degrees all week, exceeded my expectations.
