I noticed a lot of hand "gunk" sticking to the handle of my gear shifter, and it also seemed like some of the material on the side of the handle was about to come loose. I bought this cover to keep both problems from getting worse. I have a Chevy Sonic, automatic transmission. Amazon said this cover would fit my vehicle, but you never know if these products designed for multiple makes and models will actually work with your car. Thankfully I got it to fit, though the velcro strap is just barely long enough to wrap around the shifter comfortably. It was easy to install, and does not interfere with shifting. The cover feels good on your hand, and even after sitting out in 90+ F weather for several hours, the handle was not uncomfortably hot. If I ever choose to drive the car in manual "M" mode I will need to take this item off, since it covers the manual gear shifting +/- buttons on the left of my particular vehicle's shifter. A section of the cover could also be cut out fairly easily for that purpose. Well worth the money.

I have a 2017 Nissan Rogue. I bought this without checking the size and basing it off the picture and it doesn’t fit. Double check that it will properly fit before purchasing.

My gear shift knob cover broke at the top. This replacement fit perfectly. It's cushiony, so easy to install, and you get a firm grip on it. No worry if you have sweaty hands bc of the fabric it's made of.

Amazon said this would fit my vehicle. It didn’t. Not even close. Plus, it’s so puffy that I have a feeling it would cause a driving hazard for anyone who did use it. But it’s also so small that I can imagine the gear shift it would fit. Don’t waste your money.

It looks great and it said it would fit my car. It does, but it is a very tight fit and the Velcro is not strong enough to keep it together without having to constantly refasten it. I still like it, just a little disappointed though.
