The material feels nice like a metal cover and it swings just fine. The only problem is that when you try to put it on, the sticker/gel they give you is hard to unwrap and can break easily but they give you 2 in case you mess up one like I did

Bought this for my husband for our jeep and they said it would fit and it doesn’t at all. So make sure you have the correct vehicle our you will be highly disappointed
