Some say Curb Appeal ups the value of oneβs property, for a minimal cost and an easy upgrade one can increase curb appeal to oneβs Corvette interior with a Lcojicep Carbon Fiber Trim Kit made for Door Lock Switch Button Covers. Compatible for C6 Corvettes 2005 β 2013 this door lock button frame cover sticker made of high-quality carbon fiber material has a transparent smooth surface that is scratch resistant and has anti-corrosion qualities. This is a quick less than 15-minute DIY project that when finished looks like a custom install done by a professional installer. It is important to clean the application area first before attempting to paste the sticker to the door lock frame. I suggest washing with soap and water the surface area around the switch button cover making sure that the cover is clean of dirt, dust and grease dry with a microfiber towel β then wipe surface area with rubbing alcohol and water mixture β this will make the optimum clean surface to apply the Carbon Fiber sticker β The sticker is a self-adhesive designed sticker just carefully peel of the tape and paste in place while pressing down hard to ensure the sticker makes good firm contact with the surface.I like that once properly in place this sticker hides any blemish or unsightly scratches that were in place before upgrading to this new Carbon Fiber look. There are other placement option trim kits that can be used if after trying this inexpensive easy DIY project satisfies expectations. For my 2007 C6 I will wait and see how long the adhesive stays in place before moving forward and investing in a bigger coverage project on my dashboard and center console area.

These carbon fiber trim covers for my C6 fits as expected. I use detailing spray on my interior to shine up the trim and when I installed the drivers side cover it did not stick well. Remembering that it had a detailing spray on the surface, I used alcohol on the passenger side and the cover stuck on a lot better. I was going to remove the passenger side and clean it but decided I might regret doing that considering it might not stick at all trying to reapply it. These covers came with no instructions to suggest cleaning the surface first.
