Captain O-Ring Fill Nipple O-Rings

Includes ten (10) Polyurethane Fill Nipple O-Rings

  • Standard fill nipple o-ring (size 006). Molded from 90 durometer polyurethane for the ultimate durability and dependability.
  • Includes ten (10) o-rings
  • If your HPA tank is leaking from the fill nipple after filling, it means your o-ring is worn out or damaged and requires replacement. Quickly get your air tank back in working order with Captain O-Ring's replacement fill nipple o-rings.
  • Fits fill nipples (foster fitting valves) that use the 006 size o-ring in paintball, airsoft, air guns, and more.

If you have a leaking fill nipple (also called foster fitting) on your high pressure air tank, the most likely culprit is a worn out or damaged fill nipple o-ring. Captain O-Ring's ten (10) pack of polyurethane fill nipple o-rings ensures you aren't left at the field with a leaking fill nipple, while also having spares on hand for future repairs and friends/teammates.

To check compatibility: Empty your air tank entirely, remove the fill nipple from the tank/regulator, remove the piston (you may have to poke it out from the fill side opening with something narrow) and check if the o-ring is a size 006.

To Install: Empty your air tank entirely. Remove the fill nipple from the tank/regulator. Remove the piston from the fill nipple (you may have to poke it out from the fill side opening with something narrow, be sure to note which direction it faces). Remove the old o-ring. Install the new o-ring. Replace the fill nipple piston (make sure it faces the same direction as it was removed). Install the fill nipple onto the tank/regulator. Fill the tank and ensure no leaks.

Note: Do not lubricate the o-ring with oil during installation. Under high pressure, oil may reach its flash point and ignite/combust.

What to expect: Includes ten (10) polyurethane fill nipple o-rings in Captain O-Ring branded packaging.

I have a 90 ci Benjamin tank that developed a leak out of the fill port. This solved the problem.

I was really disappointed that these did not work on Ninja fill nipples. I was sure hoping they would, considering replacement fill nipples from Ninja are over $20.

FYI, this O-ring works for the internal O-ring for the on/off valve for Ninja and pure energy remote lines. BTW, throw a glass of water in the microwave and boil, and then put the o-ring on the stem, get them both hot, then slide it on. You need to get it hot to get it in.

If you have a multi-size o-ring kit with 70 duro bunanitrile o-rings (such as a standard Captain O-ring kit), you can get away with using one of those for a little while as a temporary fix. But if your application requires 90 duro urethane, buna is just not going to cut it for very long. It's really frustrating to have a persistent to recurrent leak from your fill nipple. Sometimes giving it another little pop of air from the fill station will reseat the piston and stop the leak temporarily, but the only real fix is to drain the tank, remove the fill nipple, and replace that o-ring with the correct size, material, and durometer. These are kind of pricey in terms of per-unit cost, but at least it is only a 10-pack. Most other sources will require you to buy 50 or 100 or more, and the shipping costs will usually eat up the savings anyway. And if stored properly, urethane o-rings can last a few years.
