This is the best oral flea med we’ve used! Our cat was a stray rescue, and we love him so much, so keeping him flea-free is a top priority. This pill is easy to give, and ever since using it, he has been completely flea-free. No mess, no stress—just an effective solution that actually works. Highly recommend!

After doing research, I decided to buy this flea treatment. I was really impressed with its effectiveness; it works for 6 doses! I especially appreciate how fast-acting it is, started killing fleas in no time. As a pet parent, it's a relief to have such an efficient product at hand.

A bit strong for my adult male, but half a pill, crushed, and mixed well into wet food is absolutely LETHAL to the fleas. Starts working in 30 mins after his "treat".

Wow, what a product! It's so effective and acts very fast, making my cat flea-free in no time. Plus, it's safe for cats and even kittens, which is an added relief. And the best part? No vet prescription needed! Definitely a must-try for all cat parents out there.

Worked on our cats , to kill off fleas , along with spraying the inside of our house and daily combing ,most of them . I used these pills once I sprayed the rooms for two weeks twice a week . Then I gave them the pill medication with pieces of chicken squeezed to hold the pill in . Great price , no side effects to our cats .

Definitely did not kill many fleas as compared to what my cat had gotten but it IS the go to flea preventitive now as the other competeing brands especially the neck applications did NOTHING.For this you will see fleas start to jump off less than an hour after your cat swallow it. Make sure that she is in a spot that you don’t mind finding a bunch of fleas like on an old towel or something. 4/5 will get again. Also VERY expensive.

Kills fleas fast but keep in mind one pill only lasts for 24 hours, and you can safely give another dose after that 24 hour period. This is NOT a 30 day flea preventative. My recommendation is to speak with your vet about proper flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Well, while we can’t keep our 1 and half year old cat inside at this stage, 100% of the time, we had to let him have outside time. Of course, when he came into the house, we saw fleas, or if we combed him outside. It was scary to see so many and with our other cat, he didn’t have that issue and with having cats throughout my life, I guessed that some cats are more likeable to fleas, like some people are more liked by mosquitoes. What was great, with Capstar, was in giving our cat a tablet daily, was that soon, the fleas were gone. It took our cat about two weeks, with daily use.The proof was combing and/or brushing our cat. We could see that the fur didn’t have fleas or the excrement. We also didn’t see the fleas on the bed, carpet, furniture, etc. While it’s a little concerning to give him a tablet lie this, for me, it’s easier than topical. Naturally, I was worried about giving him this tablet daily, since I wasn’t sure how he would react. Initially, he did have a stomach reaction, and started eating grass or tall weeds, right after taking it, though after about a week, he was ok. These days, after longer use, does not have that issue.I do a small modification, though, to give it to him.I don’t put it as a tablet in his throat. I just ‘grind the tablet’ so it’s a powder, then mix it with his favorite liquid cat treat. It mixes with it well. The only time he wouldn’t eat it was when it wasn’t mixed well.(To explain on topicals, while our cat is extremely fastidious, he is constantly getting into shrubs, etc., so a topical isn’t ideal for him. Kudos to those where that works! So…Capstar pills are easy to deal with. They are fairly thin and small, maybe like the size if a thick shirt button. Each pill is individual in a foil, easy to tear off.To grind it to powder, you can use a can or something like it, to get the powder effect. It takes just a little bit of hitting it in the indiviualpill package, in the foil, then open the pill pocket by popping it and put it in the cat dish. It may be in one spot, so mixing it helps. This worked and is wonderful as we love having our cat inside when he needs to be, and allowing him outside, as he has to have his time being in the sun and visiting other outside cats.It also helps, so you aren’t worried about fleas being everywhere in the house. For improvements to the manufacturer, make the product 7 tabs instead of 6, please, and for the larger quantities. Also, find ways to give deals in some way. I know you have a captive audience, though sending some deal is important and appropriate, please.I would say that this, overall, has been helpful for having a cat who seems to be a flea attractor when he is outside and he needs to have his cat roaming, so this is a worthy product to try. His appetite is still great and no side effects after the initial week approx.
