Did my 1st diy oil change on my Tacoma and was able to complete it just fine! Last oil change was from the dealership and it seemed like they over torqued the filter housing so I was definitely pulling HARD with this housing wrench and it was able to handle it very well til I was able to loosen the housing! It’s got a good weight to it so it’s not cheaply made. I’d say it’s worth it!

This product I have owned before with my other Camry V6 I uses to own. Never had any issues with this company and the tool is quality sturdy and worth really more for the money. It grips beyond what you'd expect. 100% recommend by me.

This is a high quality wrench, but there are forged steel products as well. This works, but the cast aluminum can’t tolerate the use of an impact wrench. I prefer the cast steel option.

I had to change my wife's new to her Prius's oil. little did I know that thing needs a special wrench for the oil filter cartridge. some googling and I found a store nearby sold it. great! crisis averted! went and got it. and the thing wouldn't get the cover off. I tried with a 24" breaker bar. nothing. now I was so mad. the darn wrench kept sliding and I was so afraid it'll break the plastic cover. I had to swallow my pride and tell the wife her car would be unusable all weekend while I got this second wrench delivered. (I already had emptied the old oil). anyway, I got this fancy wrench and the cover got off like magic. easy and felt safe, not the wobbly lose fit from the autoparts store one. Love this thing. word of caution, use the 27mm socket and not the 1/2 inch ratchet directly. after all is aluminum and you don't want to risk it

If you've ever had a Toyota oil filter adapter break or break the oil filter housing then you know the struggle.So far so good. Where other adapters have either broken or cracked the filter housing, this one appears to be OK.

Ive yet to break a housing or have a capri filter wrench fail on me.... The housings these are designed for notoriously have poor quality tools for removal... These are the gold standard in any auto shop that requires diverse oil changing

Today was my 1st time changing the oil on my 2015 Toyota Prius. I was a bit skeptical about ordering this filter wrench as I have several different universal filter wrenches. I am so glad I ordered this one. Toyota oil filter caps are custom and my others would not have worked. This is built with great quality. I have always taken my Prius to Toyota for oil changes. I’m so glad I did it myself today as I found out during one of those oil changes, the technician over tightened my oil filter cap making it nearly impossible to remove today. I had to use an impact wrench to remove it. This is not recommended, but every attempt and idea I had using manual tools did not work. The impact wrench did not damage this oil filter wrench. I highly recommend buying this one.

I received this quickly and used it on my 2015 Venza and it worked very well. I had another cheaper one that did not fit properly and I had to wrestle with it every time. This one goes on and off well. It is just large enough to slip on while still being snug. I agree with others that this design of filter wrench are designed to be used with the 27mm socket and work very well when you use it that way.
