Cross stitch required clearly stamped areas for change of floss color. This was very poorly stamped. I wanted to make this a gift, but I know I will never complete it.

My daughter have all picked up embroidery and love it. They all also want their own tote bags for different reasons. This was the perfect two in one . The design is beautiful, and the quality truly was great. It may not be for a beginner, but was easy for my daughter who has had a bit of practice.

I embroidered this bag for my sister for Christmas and it was wonderful! Ended up running out of the yellow thread but ran and got a close match at Joann’s. Great quality and great kit to use. Definitely recommend putting a protective backing on afterwards to seal the thread.

I bought this to do as a Christmas present for my mom and, while it took me longer than I expected (totally me having unrealistic expectations), I was so happy with the quality and how easy it was to complete! The design on it and the colors of the thread are so pretty. If I were to buy all of the things that this kit comes with, it would have been more than $20, making it a great value. My mom loved it and I highly recommend it!

I purchased this to make as a gift for my mother who loves sunflowers. I mainly referenced the color photo in the instructions to see what colors I needed to place. I did run out of one of the shades of green, and the grey/blue and had to use some leftover thread from another project. It was easy to make, and I'm happy the results. I can feel proud to give this as a gift. I think it's easy enough for adult beginners who want to take up the hobby of embroidery. You will learn a few stitches from this particular design, the satin stitch, stem stitch, and french knot. The tote bag is a pretty thick fabric and it should hold up nicely. The tote bag isn't the largest bag, but it isn't very small either. It should be the perfect size to use as a cute purse on a spring day. Could be used for groceries as well, as long as it's just a few items. I'm looking at other designs they offer to make for other relatives/friends who might be interested.
