I ordered the Cannon sports composite leather official football to add to our collection of balls, equipment, and various toys we keep at our house for our grandkids to play with. We have a large grassy common area outside of our townhouse that give the grandkids somewhere to go play with something like this football. The football came deflated but it also came with a pump and needles included which allowed me to quickly inflate the football right after I received it. The ball is a full regulation sized football and is made of composite leather so it has the feel of real leather. It has actual stitching and not simulated stitches so you actually have something for your fingers to grasp when throwing the ball to get the perfect spiral. Overall, the ball seems to be well made and has a good feel to it and good weight unlike many other inexpensive footballs I have seen before. It is easy to grasp though like many new footballs it a little slippery which should improve with use. The ball throws well and has a good feel to it. An added bonus is the ball pump with plenty of extra needles as well.

First day we tried to inflate the ball the area you insert the needle to inflate it punched through to the inside of the ball. We were contacted by Cannon in regards to our initial review of this product being defective. They offered to replace the ball. Much to our surprise not only did they replace the ball they sent an extra one for my son to enjoy. He in turn gave it to his brother for Christmas. Thank you Cannon Sports for making this boy happy to have a good working ball.
