These scissors are black and burned candle wicks that need to be trimmed are black. When you go to trim the wick it’s impossible to see the wick or exactly where you are trimming it.

Great tool! Nicely made heavy duty and cuts very very well. Would recommend oh and it comes in a very cute velvet bag which I like instead of plastic I actually use my bag for its storage when not in use.
