I love this little gadget so much. I recently moved to a student apartment which bans any open flames. My boyfriend gifted me over 12 candles for my birthday, so I was looking for a way to use them. I was originally gonna go for some fancy flower lamp, but decided that aesthetics don’t matter that much. The timer works perfectly. It always shuts off after 8 hours. My three-wick candles are fully melted within an hour or so of turning on. Smaller candles, maybe 30-45 minutes. The warmer does not heat up the surface below it. The smell is strong, but not too strong. Great for having a passive way to make your space smell nice.I also just bought another to give to my boyfriend. 🩷

You're still considering?! GO FOR IT! I can't believe I didn't know about candle warmers sooner, as this thing is a game changer!I couldn't make up my mind on which one to get, but I went with this bottom-heating one, and let me tell you, my candle is lasting FOREVER! I've used it so many times, and there's still so much wax left, and the scent remains potent. It heats up slowly and safely, plus I don't have to worry about trimming wicks, uneven burns, or residue. It's so much safer, and it even shuts off after a few hours if you forget about it. So easy to use! I'm definitely gifting these for the holidays - they're amazing value for money and so effective!

It melts the candle but the product itself immediately began to release smoke continuously and it melted the inside and bottom parts of the product as it is made of plastic. So it was damaged on the first use. The hot plate which is initially on top, went to the bottom of the warmer so I assumed that the inside parts holding the plate has melted as well as it didn’t return to its normal position even after cool down.

Takes a while for the candle to begin to melt. You need to use a candle that has a thinner glass. Great value and works well!

Works as expected . Definitely hot enough to melt wax or to keep my coffee warm . Cord length is good and am very appreciative of the self shut off controls after eight hours . Now this was money well spent , not like that other piece of crap I ordered , and for pretty close to the same price . Definitely recommended.

This was purchased to be used with Amazon Smart Plugs. There were so many times when I'd light a candle and forget to put it out before leaving the house or going to sleep. So smart plug plus candle warmer plus Alexa equals being able to set up routines that will activate the warmer under whatever circumstances I set. Like they will automatically turn on when I'm within half a mile from home then turn back off an hour later. I can have them set to turn off 10 minutes after my usual bed time, or to turn on whenever I say "Alexa, light a candle".Setting the unit up is as simple as plugging it in, placing a candle on it, then turning the switch. They have an auto off feature that powers the unit off after 8 hours which sounds like a great safety feature. The unit is fairly small and light, and my candles last much longer than they did when used conventionally. Also every bit of wax is used unlike with burning a wick which leaves a portion unused. So far they work well and have not showed any signs of overheating, though I have yet to run them for more than a few hours. I use these with both small single wick candles and large 3 wick ones and they both work well. The scent is strong enough for my small-ish home, but if I had a large area I would probably get multiple warmers in a single room or use higher intensity candles.I highly recommend these to anyone who has a lot of scented candles and either forgets to put them out or doesn't want to have open flame for whatever reason.

I bought this with free shipping with Amazon Prime in black. This electric candle warmer has some very good features for the money. It melts the wax and diffuses the candle scent fairly quickly. The cord is sufficiently long and the warmer has an auto shutoff feature after 8 hours of use. This warmer will work well with both jar candles and candles in metal tins, but you will probably have some wax leakage from metal tins. If you want the scent to diffuse rapidly, you should use a 3.5 oz. or slightly larger jar candle. The wax will melt entirely, so most likely you will not be able to light the candle again because the wick will drift, and you'll probably want to entirely remove it with tweezers or tongs. What you'll find is that even though the amount of wax will stay fairly constant, the candle scent will weaken over time, so you may want to try adding some essential oil prior to turning on the warmer or blending several candles together. If you want this for daily use around your home, you may want to pick up a few warmers and also look for some good deals on small jar candles. Since the wax will melt entirely, you can get creative and combine candles taking care not to burn yourself because the melted wax will be hot. You cannot burn the candle and use the warmer at the same time. The other nice thing about this warmer is that you can take it with you when you travel because it's lightweight and won't take up much space. It is also suitable for use in a bedroom, dorm room or other place where an open flame would not be a good idea. You can also use candle tarts or scent tarts if you put them in a glass container, but it is generally recommended that you melt 3.5 oz. to 18 oz. of wax at one time. Enjoy!I still love these and I have them distributed around my house. They work really well, and you will get a lot more hours out of your candles if you use this warmer. They make a great gift for anyone!I bought 3-oz. candles at CVS (pumpkin, sugar cookie, evergreen, Christmas spice) for $1 (or less when on sale) and they last and last. CVS sells these seasonal scents from Candle-lite and they work perfectly with this warmer. The other thing that you need to know is that the on/off switch often requires you to turn it on several times until you see the red light. Also sometimes if the power goes off and then comes on, these warmers will turn on as well, so it's good to place them where it will never be a problem for them to come on when you aren't expecting this to happen.I definitely advise against metal tin candles, but they will work in a pinch.Highly recommended product.June 11, 2012 I still highly recommend this product. This is a very good solution for adding fragrance to your home. The CVS candles for 99 cents are a good way to have long-lasting scent. One warmer can scent two to three adjacent rooms. I keep one in the kitchen and it "wafts" into the dining room and living room.
