I purchased this to change the oil on my Can-am X3 because it fits perfectly in the skid plate hole. I wish the funnel mouth was wider because the oil barely (with some spillage) makes it into the funnel with some manual manipulation. Not the funnels' fault. Just a dumb design of where the oil drain plug is on the X3.

After numerous oil slicks on the skid plate this puppy saved the day. Flexible enough to squeeze under the oil drain bolt of an X3. Helps with a mess-free oil change. Less time cleaning up oil spills and more time riding.

I used two of these funnels to change the oil on my Maverick R (I think they fit the x3 also). Pretty easy to fold the wide portion to fit through the holes in the skid plate. The opening is wide enough for a socket wrench to fit and remove the plug. After I was finished, there was no oil on my skid plate.

The funnel worked just as intended while it was pouring out. As it slowed, the oil started running back on the motor and dripping on the plate. I didn’t notice it at first so it made a small mess. Just throw a towel back there and it will be fine.

When I first got this I thought it was a joke and a cheap pile of crap and that I had got taken by some as seen on TV type crap and that it would never work. Thought how could this flimsy rubber do what they said, so out the the garage to be disappointed i go. This was my fist oil change on our can am maverick x3rc and every forum said to get something like this. Got the machine ready and got this sad flimsy funnel ready with my tools and went to town on getting this task done. Man was I proved wrong, now I see why it had to be flimsy and flexible! Got it positioned and in the hole and that stayed right where it was supposed to be and worked perfectly! Caught just about every drop of oil out of the machine, the only oil it missed was cause i bumped it out of the hole when I shoved the socket up thru it to get the drain plug out, lesson learned, next time put into the hole more! This was a great little tool and is purpose built and does exactly what it claims, worth every penny in my book!
