I got the recommended size and it fit pretty well. He is a moyen poodle miniature schnauzer mix with long fur for winter. The first day I was very frustrated trying to get the suit on him the recommended method. After getting the legs on trying to get the zipper to work was nearly impossible. It seems a bit cheap and under any tension it wouldn't connect properly to zip. The inside button was too weak to hold as well. The next day I decided to start the zipper and zipit up a couple inches, then fit his head through the hole and slide the suit back, put on the front legs, then the hind legs, and then zip to the neck taking care not to grab the fur. That worked well in the house and in the car at the trailheads. He tolerated it well too. I remain a bit leery of the zipper's long term functionality but this method puts much less stress on it. I've taken my pup for a couple of long snowshoes in deep powdery snow and it kept the snowballs off this armpits, chest and upper legs, which is what I hoped. It doesn't work as well for his groin but it has to be open for him for bodily functions so that's life. The lower third of his legs below the suit still snowballed but I expected that, although longer legs would be nice. He doesn't need more insulation with his thick coat but this will block the gusty wind. How will the suit work in actual slush, rain or very sticky snow is still to be discovered but I'm optimistic. It is a light weight material so how well it will stand up to brushy and rocky terrain also is to be determined but I have a heavier duty softshell for him to use when snowballing is not an issue. So I'll give it 4 stars for now.

I love the fit and function of these suits. Love it so much I bought a second one for my younger pup. Now they can stay drier for the most part! Work great in the snow as well!

I love this suit. Keeps my doodle dry and helps with protecting him from the fur snowballs that used to get all over him. I love it.

This slush suit is incredibly well made and the size 12 fits my 11.5 pound dog with a 13 inch long back really well. The only problem is, the material is somewhat crunchy (as most waterproof material is) and she refuses to walk with it on. I'm so disappointed because the suit itself is perfect in so many ways. I believe the description did not mention a portal for a harness but to my surprise there was one.

Wanted to love this for its full coverage as I was sick of my pups underside getting soaked walking in the rain. Within a week of use, the drawstring cord broke. But whatever, could deal with that. I just got home from a walk in the rain and noticed upon taking it off that the suit was completely wet inside! Hoping I can still get a refund.

I didnāt realize this was just a shell and not a puffy/warm coat. I ordered this in the 12 and 14 for my 15 lb rat terrier for the subzero temps weāve been having in Chicago, but this coat seemed less warm than just his little puffer coats that donāt have legs, I was aiming for more warmth and more coverage. Heās about 13ā long and 19ā around the chest, and the 12 was so tight I didnāt think I could comfortably fit his harness underneath, whereas the 14 was loose enough that I felt he would be peeing into the suit unless I cut it or made some adjustment. Overall just not what I was looking for, seems more like a rain suit and better for a dog slightly smaller or bigger

We received this dog outfit and I was worried about the fit. Luckily it got out Tibetan Terrier very well and he looks amazing in it. It keeps him nice and dry on his walks in the rain and slush. I'm impressed by the quality of the garment as I'm so used to dog jackets/clothing to be of shoddy quality but not this one. I'm impressed!

Great for the rainy and muddy days outside! Keeps my pup mostly dry and itās less of a hassle to clean up after walks! It was a little tricky to get on at first but Iāve figured it out. Great product!

I ordered one according to the measurement chart they provided. It came WAY too small for my dog. I need one for a Beagle and another one for a Dachshund. Neither dog would fit this strange size that ended up coming to my house. I returned it and will not buy another one again unless I can see them in a store to try them. DONT GET ME WRONG. I have a black Canada Pooch jacket for my Beagle that zips up at the back that fits him like a glove and it's his best jacket ever. I think it's neoprene? Someone gave it to us. I want another one, but can't risk it again for size. They are super expensive to play around.

Weāve been searching a long time for a snowsuit for our Goldendoodle. He LOVES the snow, but gets so bound up in snow balls he can hardly move! And its hard to get them off.This snow suit is 100% worth the money! The quality is AMAZING! like Iām talking extreme sport snowmobile quality. Itās extremely water proof and weather proof. My pup stays nice and dry and best thing, NO SNOWBALLS!I did have to get a couple sizes bigger than recommended, my fluff is a different shape than most I guess. We ended up getting the 28 size. For reference my fluff is 75lbs. 27 in back and 33 girth. We sewed some dog snow boots to the feet so they donāt come off and this is the best snow suit ever!!!
