The CAMVATE Cheese Plate is universally applicable for on-camera monitor cage rig that can be situated on the bottom, the included 1/4"-20 thumbscrew is used to secure the monitor into the cage rig. The high quality aluminum alloy construction makes it light and durable.
This bottom cheese plate can be screwed on the monitor cage through the mounting slots spacing 18mm centre to centre, additionally it provides array of 1/4"-20 threaded mounting points for attaching more external accessories at your request.

I saw a review for a mount used with the Zoom F1 field recorder and noticed they used this cheese plate in replacement of that mount. It seemed highly functional and I'm super pleased with the result. Absolutely great value for the money, and a perfect size for my needs with a small piece of felt and a few zipties. It made my recorder completely usable again for my needs. Definitely a win.

I like the selection of holes but something about these does not sit level on the camera base. Since the metal plate is flat I have to assume it is something to do with the rubber pad on the threaded side.If you don't need the camera to sit level on the plate this is a good choice.

Nice use as a compact base plate. Numerous 1/4 - 20 holes.
