Product is fine, but item takes few seconds to stabilize and is getting interrupted if there are any other objects nearby. Easy to use, pocket size, Accuracy is nearer and not exact; Good for checking few things, for kids and not for prefessional purposes.

My mother in law wanted a compass (go figure) I got her this one and she received it and was so happy of how nice and heavy duty it is.

Ordered multiple compasses for a work meeting. Surprisingly good quality. Made a great presentation. The details and colors on the face is very nice. Great value for the price. Arrived overnight, within hours of the order.

The title may go without saying, but a sub-$10 compass isn't really ideal for serious field use. However, this particular compass is actually functional, and will give you accurate directional information provided that you know how to use a compass. It's very nice and ornate looking, with a brass-ish metal enclosure that sort of reminds me of a pocket watch. It also has a mounting ring if you wanted to hang this from a keychain or carabiner or whatever. Overall build quality is okay, but does not feel particularly robust. The two big drawbacks for me are:1) the cardinal direction letters on the dial are hard to see/read other than north and there there is a background graphic beneath the dial and needle with compass directions indicated, but they don't move with the dial, so it can be confusing visually. 2) There is some kind of mini-magnet in the dial that forces the needle to move if you turn it beyond a certain point, and this makes it take longer for the needle to settle. Very strange design choice, to me.If you plant to be out in the woods a lot, get something better. If you just want a functional toy compass that looks cool and will be a conversation starter, this is probably good.

I bought two for grandson (2) Christmas. One works & the other does not. You can see that the direction indicator needle isn’t floating but resting on the floor. I asked for a replacement but have not heard.
