Learning to cook with stainless steel while camping. Good quality, easy clean up and you can fit them back in the carrying case after use

Have camped for many years - everything from backpacking to RV. Have wanted to upgrade to a great set of nesting pots for a long time. Some brands are very pricey and don’t have enough lids. Each of these pots has a lid and I can do everything from cooking small amount of veggies to make a large pot of soup. Cooking is one of the things we love about camping and this set makes the best use of my space. Great value.

I really like this camping pot set. The pans are well made and are great for car camping. The bag is pretty sturdy and it hold the pans securely. The pans are larger than I was expecting. The large pot was big enough to make six or seven large bowls of chili. So, using these pots for making food for a family of four or five people would be no problem.

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. These are actually decent nesting pots. They are a little heavy but for my intended use of camping out of a 3/4 ton truck weight doesn't really matter but convenience, durability, and utility do matter. They clean up pretty easily and feel like they will last forever. These were purchased to replace a mixed and not so matched set of pots in my camp kitchen box that had been thrown together over the last 40 years. You know those pots, the home kitchen rejects or Goodwill finds. I definitely recommend these for those that do any kind of "real" camp cooking where you need a bunch of pots and some big ones. These are not for those folks that are just boiling water. So, if you have the space to put them in the camp kitchen, they are pretty nice and worth the price.

I am very pleasantly surprised with this set I bought to replace the mis-matched pots and pans in our camper. They nest so well and each pot has a lid - read that again... each pot has a lid! The handle on the lid is recessed which I thought would be a pain but it isn't. It hasn't been too hot to handle with my bare fingers yet. The bail handle is nice and heavy. There is a hole to use for hanging over a fire but I just use it on our 2 burner stove top. I really don't need the largest one so I wish you could mix and match purchase the pots individually. They wash well and carry easily to a picnic table - easier than a side handle.

This is a very compact set of pots. I added one frypan to my kitchen stuff and we were good to go for camping. These are so nice, there’s no reason not to use them at home as well. They all fit inside of each other perfectly...lids too. Really could eliminate all the clutter in your home or travel trailer. All the hanging handles have slots in them so you can use your tripod and cook over a fire or coals. They are sturdy, but not heavy, so when they are full of food, you can still handle them easily. I was just amazed at how they all nest together and take up so little space. The zippered, padded bag is great and protects them during travel.

Quality isn’t that good stainless steel in and one of the lid handles the spot welds that held the handle on were broken when I unpacked it I guess it’s relative to how much you spend

THE PANS ARE VERY WELL BUILT & STURDY & HEAVY DUTY THICK BOTTOMS & PACK AWAY AS 'SNUG AS A BUG IN A RUG' THEY HAVE A GOOD CARRY BAG WITH PADDING & TWO HANDLES & ALTHOUGH NOT YKK ZIPS THEY LOOK OK & ARE FREE RUNNING TIME WILL TELL, THEY WILL CATER FOR A WHOLE FAMILY WHEN CAMPING & COOK EVERYTHING YOU WILL EVER NEED. POSSIBLY A BIT HEAVY FOR BACKPACK BUT YOU COULD ALWAYS LEAVE THE BIGGER ONES BEHIND AS YOU WOULD ONLY NEED 1 OR TWO OF THE SMALLER ONES AT MOST. THE ONLY THING DUE TO THE DESIGN & COMPACTABILITY IS THE LIDS YOU MAY FIND YOU NEED A 'LID LIFTER' COZ THEY GET A BIT HOT BUT OTHER THAN THAT, BRILLIANT FOR THE PRICE

We are slowly replacing the granite ware pots in our Scout troop patrol boxes. This is the third set we have purchased because everyone has loved them so much. The bail handle allows you to lift the pot without a potholder (if you remember to put it up before you start cooking). The bail on each pot also has a hole so it can be suspended over a campfire. You probably could cook over moderately hot campfire coals. Use a thin coat of liquid dish soap over the bottom of the pan and halfway up the (out)side to make cleanup easier. Personally, I prefer cast iron over a campfire. The pots easily nest together in their zippered storage bag. The lids have a small flat handle over an indentation. This makes it a challenge for using a potholder, but I have found that I can usually lift the lid without burning my two fingers. You can also slip a fork under the lid to lift it. This is a fair trade off for having a lid for each pot and a small storage profile. The largest pot is big enough to cook a pack of spaghetti. We also use them as mixing bowls. Spray with “Pam,” scramble the eggs in the pot and “voilà!” less dishes to wash. We also gave up on our coffee pot and use the largest pot to heat water in the morning for instant coffee and hot chocolate. These are not heavy duty pots, but they have held up well for Scout use and we have no dents after two years of use on our first set. One of our propane stoves has only two heat choices; “Burn everything” and “Melt.” This resulted in scorch marks inside a pan used to cook oatmeal (made with milk). They lightened some after a good scrub with “Bar Keepers Friend.” It has not affected their performance. In Scouting, we call this an “experienced” pot. Using a “flame tamer” helps If your stove is like ours. It has not been a problem cooking foods like stew or scrambled eggs as long as the Scout doesn’t get distracted and forget they are cooking.
