We have used it for 9 months. But it always reads low and doesn't let very much water in. We have way better pressure when we just fill our tank and use that. I don't know if ours is defective but it definitely isn't set at the 40 psi it claims.

Apparently this regulator is preset at 45 to 60 psi and is non adjustable so it just reports the preset pressure. So what is the point of the guage? Just as well since my guage failed after a few uses. I will continue to use it on the assumption that it is still reducing the campground water pressure. Or is it?

Overall I liked it, seems good quality - time will tell. I would like to have had some information with it as what pressure range is in the low/good/high ranges.

Useful addition to water system. I was surprised at the first location we used it how low the pressure was. Being able to see the pressure build as you open the tap is a good way to know when to stop and restrict the pressure to the onboard plastic pipe system.

I really like how easy it is to read the regulator and to ensure that I am not damaging the RV pipes. I know there are folks who will say that they have never used one in all the years they have been camping. This is true, but it only takes that one time. Better to be safe than sorry. Great product and solidly built, highly recommended.

When the water pressure in our motor coach decreased, we did not know whether to attribute it to low pressure from the source, a faulty regulator, a clogged hose or a spent water filter. We decided to replace the regulator as a step in locating and fixing the problem.We found this one with the gauge--offered on the same Amazon page as the simple regulator. For the extra few bucks, this seemed to be the way to go. Now the source pressure is not an unknown. We think it was a good choice. And the gauge and regulator have been working just fine.(Turns out the filter needed to be changed out. We were not expecting such an easy solution. It seemed too soon for a filter change, but the water must have been extra thick at the previous park we were at.)

This item is as good as expected.Its made of brass, no plastic except for the pressure meter.Works like a charm, bringing my water pressure down from 125 psi to about 55 pounds.I use it for my car wash system since I have broken 2 of them at a cost of over $50.This little device will save money in the long run. Only thing is that since the pressure is lower, the flow is lower and you don't get the big blast that I was use too. But that's ok, since I know it will save the weak plastic car wash gun innards and save me money and time replacing them.I also like the swivel on the hose end. Makes it that much better. Doesn't leak at all!What more can I say?It works, it works, it work!!!
