This worked perfect for the water inlet cover lock on my 1973 Airstream 31' Sovereign. I needed a straight cam, but the straight cam that came with it was a hair too short in length. The offset cam, however, was considerably longer. So, I hammered the offset cam to be flat. The now flattened offset cam was slightly too long and didn't clear an obstacle in the turn radius, so I ground it down a little with an angle grinder. It works perfectly. Very satisfied with the quality of the pieces. The nut for the threads tightened down nice and strong which was my main concern for this product before having it physically before me. No concerns now at all.I don't suspect that others will need to perform any modifications of the cam like I had to. Don't hesitate to buy this. Great product. Great price. And, can be modified if necessary. :)
