Having used Cambro products as a food service professional, I knew I wanted one of these for personal use. After more than a decode I finally purchased one. I have used many brands of hot boxes, but Cambro has always been the best. When the package arrived it had a large crack in the external shell near the base on the outside of the box. A replacement was quickly shipped and did not arrive damaged. If you are considering a hot box, I highly recommend this brand. This size is fantastic due to many pans it will hold.

Knew there was no seal but without it doesnt seal tight. Ill either add one or buy another model that has already

Door leaks both warm air and condensate. During transportation I have to keep it on an angle to avoid spilling condensate into the trunk of my car.

It was assumed that, air tight would mean that no steam would escape, but it did. Not only was my food not as hot (warm was more like it) when I got to my location 30 minutes away, but some spills that sould have been contained ( the whole meaning of container) inside of the box, was all about my freshly lined carpet in my SUV. Curry doesn't come out.the upside to it was that the food wasn't cold. Sending it back over sea from a military base in Europe is more trouble then it's worth (and I purchased two of them). I have other organizations stationed here with me, and I chose to be the first one to try this product out to see if it would be useful for other upcoming event, but we will try other brands that will perform as promised.
