The mirror broke off of the shaft literally within a minute of my opening the package. I need this to look inside the soundhole of a guitar. The tilt of the mirror has to be adjustable to first fit between the strings and then be at the correct angle to see the underside of the guitar top through the soundhole.When I tried to tilt the mirror to adjust the angle, it broke off of the shaft. The weld is obviously too weak for regular use. I'll be returning it and buying a different brand.

It does exactly what it should, allow inspection inside walls through a small opening. It does now, after I glued the mirror back onto the handle. It fell apart under normal use, just adjusted the angle of the handle, and instead of rotating at the hinge, it broke off.So buy some superglue when you buy this and you'll be fine.

This tool has been invaluable for working on my auto. Without it I would not be able to: 1) inspect my throttle body, 2) replace my brake light switch, 3) view multiple parts in engine bay, doors, etc. before having to rip in to them. Caveat: I'm moderately skilled at auto repair and need lots of youtube, forum review, and parts dealer technical help to be able to work on my Z3. I love it!

This is a decent, well constructed mirror. Feels solid and well constructed. The mirror itself has a bit of play in that is it a little bit loose in it housing, but that is not a big deal as it dos not effect its use. They could have made that portion a bit more solid, or even just used a bit of double sided tape so it would not move around (although it only moves slightly). I like the fact that the mirror is relatively large, but do think that it is a bit too large for some applications. Personally, I think this is good as an addition to a smaller round mirror that is used in tighter spaces. I use it primarily for auto repair work and it was a bit of a hassle to get into a smaller space when I was checking the installation of a motor mount. With sufficient space this is great due to it's size. If you have a lot a tight spaces you need to get into, a smaller round mirror works much better. This is a worthy addition to my tool box though,

I use this mirror for inspecting the interior of guitars. It is the perfect size and is well made for the reasonable cost. The arm does not extend far, which is better for guitar use.

Nice mirror for automotive work, good construction quality. Althoguh it did state the size before purchasing although I wish it was a bit longer. I'm still giving it a great rating for quality and no discount since they stated the size clearly.
