I'm really neutral on these. They did not help the 5 resident cats and my daughter's 3 to destress the new situation they found themselves in. Awful fighting. That being said, I work with a rescue and recommend them often. Nine times out of ten our adopters and others seeking advice report excellent results. I think that perhaps certain cats may be more suseptible to the alming effects thanothers. Our were not unfortunately. I PERSONALLY couldn't give 5 stars based on my experience, but I would say it's definitely worth a try. I hope this helps someone

Works well, keeps my cat calm and relaxed. Just replace every 3 weeks. No smell comes from the collar that we can sense. Worth the purchase to try out.

I purchased these after my solo kitty became very, very upset when I adopted another. He was hissing and aggressive and mad at me and the new cat. He attacked me a couple of times in one day, so I ordered these collars.It took about 4 hours of wearing it for me to see a change in his behavior. I have my sweet boy back. He's chill around the new kitty. They play, and he's had a few spats, but in comparison, he's doing great. I felt really bad about it at first, but he's got to feel better and more relaxed. I have to take a little something to make me nicer too. I get it.He doesn't scratch at it or seem to mind it at all. There's a very, very faint scent, but nothing I notice. If you make a human version, let a girl know.

not only does this product not work as advertised, but it left a nasty rash/bald spot on my cats neck. Absolutely ridiculous, what is even in the collar they would cause this? Going back to the Sentry collars. Yes they’re expensive but they work and DONT cause rashes on my pet.

These actually help. New cat, 1 year old. Got cranky 12 year old lady cat that is having none of it. She just screams, then marks the carpet she screams so hard, he just wants to play.Anyhow, helped her settle down, growling instead of screaming. Combined with rescue remedy,significantly more relaxed.

This collar has helped my 8 year old male cat stop his very recent behavior of marking and urinating on the floor in our kitchen/ living room. I had tried everything-felaway multi cat diffuser, adding another litter box as well as hundreds of dollars at the vet to learn nothing physiologically wrong. Almost immediately with the collar on, you could see him become really chill- by nature he is a really chill cat to begin with but lately he had been irritated by our other cats. Wish I had tried this sooner before several vet appointments and costly tests!

Normally I trust positive reviews on Amazon, but sadly the majority let me down with this product. At first, my cat was itching a lot and I thought it was simply him getting used to it. I decided to take the collar off after a week because it did not work as intended and noticed a mark on his neck. After getting a better look, there was huge rash on his neck with significant hair loss around it and on it. My cat won't even let me touch it without becoming agitated or lightly biting which is not a normal behavior for him. I will never trust another product made by this company. The only warning label that is given is a simple instruction to not place it on too tight as it may cause irritation. The collar was only tight enough to where I could put two fingers in between the collar and his neck, so I know it being too tight was not the case. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS. Trust the negative reviews about this product.

UPDATE: After several weeks of wearing this collar neither of my cats seem in the least bit less aggressive. I was really hoping that "this was the one" but it wasn't to be. The fighting between my two indoor cats remains at the same level as before I put these collars on them. Keep reading my earlier review for the positive points as those have not changed. I have lowered my rating from 4 stars to 2 in light of the past few weeks lack of performance.So this is the fourth brand of calming collar I've tried for my indoor boy in the past 6 months or so. It's only been a few days and they normally require 1-2 weeks to show real improvement, so I can't say how effective it is yet for his aggression toward my female indoor cat.BUT! But I will say this is the least offensive smelling collar I've tried. My cat sleeps with me every night and this one has been the most pleasant to fall asleep with. So for me that is a major bonus.Here's what the ad doesn't say: This collar glows in the dark! Not brightly mind you, I wouldn't consider it a safety device for an outdoor cat near roads or anything like that. But I sleep in a blacked out room due to odd working hours and in the pitch black I can actually see where my solid black cat is by this collar! Again, for me that is another bonus.I'll try and remember to update this review in a few weeks if I notice a decrease in his aggression levels. If it does decrease I will be upgrading my review to 5 stars.
