It was very easy to put on with two people and it fits very well. I am happy with the purchase.I am sorry that I am unable to comment about how waterproof it is, because there have been no spills or accidents on it, but this encasement, plus the waterproof mattress cover I puchased to put over it are bound to keep all fluids away from the mattress.

My brand new mattresses will stay brand new. These are so easy to pull on and the material doesn't crinkle at all. I am so happy to have gotten these for my spare rooms.

I received this item for free with some sheets I bought. Love this brand & have been happy with the softness of the sheets & the use of this mattress pad to keep accidents from reaching the mattress. I have purchased from them many times.
