I got this to keep my puppy close by for training purposes, not necessarily for exercising or running. I wanted to be able to correct/reward behaviors immediately and the best way to do that is to keep him within eyesight. This leash adjusts at the waist and also at the length end so you can adjust how close or far the dog is from your body. I love that feature. It's also helpful as puppies grow too.The leash is reflective all the way around which is a great feature for walks, working out, whatever activity you may be doing.I did notice that the more I adjusted the leash, the more it began to fray. I've had this for about 6-8 weeks now and do make frequent adjustments depending on his training. My puppy also got ahold of the leash for about 30 seconds and chewed through a good portion of it. It's still usable for now, but it doesn't have much life left unfortunately so durability it's the highest.

I bought this leash about 2 months ago with my service dog in mind. In the last few months he's been coming more and more places with me, and due to one of his tasks needing my wrist to be on a short leash to his chest, I decided I needed to get a hands free leash to attach to his gear that way when he lays down I can just just drop the short handle and not worry about him being attached to me. I decided to try this leash due to the good reviews, low price, and 100% money back guarantee. It's absolutely PERFECT. It's very comfortable for the wearer(I often forget its there unless my dog is at the end of his leash), and the lengths work great for me. I wasn't sure at first how I felt about the leash part unbuckling from the waist part, but I actually find it very useful if I need to let him go further than the leash from my waist will allow or if I want to hand him off to someone else they actually have a good size leash that's easy to hold onto and use.My dog is 75 lbs and I've let him pull pretty good on it, as well as a golden I dog-sit who is of similar size(who generally pulls constantly when on lead) and this leash held up really well(no signs of weakness in it thus far) but it also gave me extra control over a large pulling dog that would normally be very hard to control(my joints are weak and I'd have to skip walking her because of her pulling!). I've also used this with my Shih Tzus and it works great with them too! Overall an awesome leash that is incredibly useful whether you're a service dog handler, a runner, or just want to walk your dog without having to hold a leash.

Obviously they have other hands free leashes that come with pouches, etc.... But the reviews for them were horrible. Anyway, I had my eyes on this one for a while, after reading a lot about different ones & the reviews I decided to get this one. Very glad I did. Super great quality. I ordered a separate pouch to attach to it as the other ones had bad reviews about breaking, etc. This is perfect. Not going to tear or break any time in the near future. The reflective part works good as well. Money well spent for a hands free leash with no pouches. Would not go back on my decision to buy two pouches separately and attach to this one. I prefer to know my dogs will be safe and not have to worry about material malfunctions. Thank you!

I started taking my dog running with me a couple of months ago, and it's something we both enjoy. Having to hold the retractable leash in one hand while running wasn't very comfortable, however, so I decided to pick up this running leash instead. The price is very reasonable. The leash itself seems strong a well made. It has reflective stitching for better visibility if you need it. There's ample room for adjustment of the waist belt. The length of the leash can also be adjusted, but I do wish it could be made 5 or 6 inches shorter. Even at its shortest, the leash gives my dog enough room that she could run in front of me and trip me if something were to distract her (like the flock of wild turkeys we saw while running yesterday). If your dog is already well trained at waking nicely on a leash or jogging beside you, this is a great hands free option. It won't magically make your dog run next to you or resist pulling if he hasn't already been trained. I've been working with my dog consistently for months to properly leash train her, so even on our first run with this leash she did a very good job of staying next to me and not pulling. Rather than attach this leash to a collar, I use a harness on my dog.Running with this leash is definitely much more comfortable than running while holding a regular leash. I didn't realize how much I missed running with both hands free until I got this leash and absolutely plan on using it from now on. Even though it could be a little shorter, it's a big improvement over what I was using and I really enjoy taking my dog with me on runs.

My Labrador loves joining me on morning runs but in reality having a 90 lb dog dragging you while using a regular leash is very uncomfortable and unsafe. This is the first running dog leash that I’ve used and I love it. It's much easier to have my hands free while running and even walking my dog. Now that I have a leash wrapped around my waist instead of my wrist I can walk them and be able to stride naturally. It makes it much more difficult for him to pull me now. I used to use it exclusively for running but now it’s the only leash I use. It keeps my dog safe and would never have to worry about him getting away. I highly recommend this leash to any dog owner. Whether you are training or doing physical activities with your pet it's the best leash in the market. The product itself seems to be made from very high quality materials.
