Great for catching bass. It is thin enough the fish have a hard time seeing, but strong enough to catch them.

I love the fact that the line is light weight. It cast out very smoothly. The value for the money is pretty good. The size is pretty good.I caught a 12 pound 42oz catfish using this line.Every since I changed all of my old fishing line for this new braided line,I haven’t lost any big fish. This line does not stretch it’s strong and tight but soft to the touch.I highly recommend this braided fishing line.It does get tangle up sometimes but if your careful you can easily get the tangles out.If your to rough or snag your pole to hard the tangles can be a mess but it’s still not a deal breaker because I haven’t lost any more big fish so I can deal with the tangles sometimes.Tangles can be upsetting but the fish I catch when I cast out is so worth it.I say give it a try.Glad I did.Keep in mind all of my poles now have this braided line on them.

Strong like ... Used on my Cat pole and the Bait caster, smooth cast and almost invisable in the water ... does not work well on a closed face reel.

If you have been into fishing for awhile you would have noticed that braid is very useful and convenient in many applications for saltwater and freshwater fishing. It’s is very strong when you pull on it. It’s very light so you cast easily. The diameter is small enough to add much heavier weighted line to smaller reels. You will have to learn to tie new braid knots because of the thinness and slipperiness of the line. There was one thing though I found very surprising and slightly disappointing. That was the abrasion resistance. It’s so ridiculously fragile that i after losing several lures and rigs that I took it off my reel. I fish around rocks and other structures and when the line rubbed on the rocks it snapped immediately. Hey s cookEd piece of spaghetti and cut it with a knife and that’s how effort you will need to cut this line. I went back to flourocarbon.
