It didn't help me catch more fish. It works well at keeping me upright. With moderate use, these last about 1.5 years.Definitely will buy again.

I have the other slick and fancy boots, and they are ok but for wading all day and being safe on slick riverbeds. these affordable boots cannot be beat.

The soles came off surprisingly fast. The laces deteriorate and the metalEyelets rust. You really get what you pay for. Felt sole did provide good grip on slick river rocks and the boot itself drained quickly and proved to be quite flexible. It was good for about 3 months before the first sole came off. Scraped the remaining glue off the felt and re-glued using Marine GOOP and hasn't come off since. Second sole began to peel after month 4 so I removed it, cleaned up the felt and re-glued with Marine GOOP. Replaced the laces once with paracord.Overall mid wading boot. Save your money and buy boots with replaceable soles because you will need to replace them anyway.

Used them for the first time last week and they worked great, felt soles made it much better walking on the slippery walks, and they dried up quickly.

Great boots for the money! First time with felt wader boots today and couldn’t believe how much grip i had! Paired these with the caddis taupe stocking foot waders and im super pleased with my purchase. Almost bought korkers but decided to stay more within my budget. Im a 7.5 to 8 in boot size and glad i read the description on these boots. They are sized larger to compensate for the bootie in your waders. I bought size 8 and had a med to heavy wool sock on aswell. Never felt scrunched or uncomfortable at all in my four hour testing. Very pleased with the waders and boots both. May buy a rubber soled set for muddy bottoms.

Super comfortable, lightweight. Walking across rocks like walking down the road. Roomy boot for stocking foot waders. Bought the shoe size I wear. Didn't have to "adjust" for fit.

Worked great, fit out of the box. Felt worked great on the slippery rocks of the Farmington River in CT. Nothing fancy, just what you need to get in the river. I would recommend them to a friend.

These were just used for a full weekend at Lees Ferry. After the weekend, I can share a two key pieces of information I would be looking for:These are the most comfortable and light boots that have ever gone over my stockingfoot waders.I washed them up in the garden hose last night and they look good as new. I was surprised to see no damage done to the felt sole as well, after all I was crunching dozens of beer cans flat on the bank, the boat, and miscellaneous other surfaces.Seriously, great boots.

Because they're going right back. Make sure you check local regs, felt soled boots are illegal in Maryland, Vermont, and a few other states. Supposedly improperly cleaned felt transfers a bad algae between streams. Hopefully the rubber soles work just as good, I'll be getting those next and will post a review...Edit: So I'm sure these work great, I had Caddks felt before and bought them again, only to find out they're illegal. I bought the rubber soles and they do work well? Ok? Well, not as good as felt. But I understand why we can't have nice things in this case, so I'm ok with it. These guys make great gear, so If you can get these and use them where you live without risking heavy fines, this is the ticket. Their rubber sole ones work pretty good too.
