Works much better then the infrared hot plate ever did. boils water faster and can sear meat. Very happy with this.

I have been using this on a daily basis for over 6 months now. It takes 15-20 minutes to bring about a gallon of water to a rolling boil. Very disappointed. Would return it in a heartbeat if I could at this point. I thought for the price I would be getting quality and efficiency - not so.

I am a beekeeper and use a grill to make hand creams, lip balm, candles, and soap using beeswax. If your time is valuableand you don't want to wait around for a big box import to heat up, this is the grill for you. Looks and acts impressive and I'm only sorry I didn't move up to a commercial unit years ago.

My daughter needs this for her studio apartment as the burners they gave her won't even boil water. We plugged this burner in yesterday and within 4 minutes we had boiling water, Woo hoo! They are full sized burners and it's not a compact unit however if you need two regular burners that work like a regular electric stove, this is your unit. Be careful as the surface area on top does get hot when in use.
