I work from home, so this robe has become my summer uniform! ;0) It's the perfect weight. I love the hood and general look of it. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that there was a defect in the seam joining one of the sleeves at the shoulder. It was an easy fix though.

Love the look and feel of turkish robes but our bnb is in a very hot climate so, it was a crap shoot buying these and hoping they wouldn't be sweaty. Terry robes are a total NO for the humidity and overall heat. We ordered the larger size to keep it OSFA for everyone. I'm 5'7 and 130-140 lbs, my husband is 6'3 and 205. For me, it fits well and down to the wrists or a little longer (I have long arms and legs), only that the belt is a little low sitting. For my husband the arms are a little short but everything else hits at about the right level. These area great look and seems like they will also wear well.

Very comfortable to wear, just the right thickness / warmth for what I was looking for. However, I'm on the tall side, at 6'3". The bottom is noticeably above my knees. That means I pretty much need to wear shorts to keep everything covered. I wish it was available in a tall size. Even so, I plan to use it in the summer to go to the pool or beach. The weave is tight, not like a common towel, so sand should not stay in it like more common robes. After receiving the robe, I ordered the matching large towel to use as a beach towel.

I was looking for a yukata to wear around the house, but this robe with a hood looked really nice. I'm a short dude, so I figured I wouldn't have to hem this, the way I was expecting to hem a regular size yukata. It fits really well, and I love having pockets, as I wear this around the house...my apartment is a fishbowl, and I like having the shades up. I don't think my neighbors are looking, but they MIGHT be, so I feel a bit more modest in my Turkish Hooded Bathrobe. The cotton is super soft, and I sort of like the tassels. It hasn't shrunk running it on low in the dryer, and the price was right. Recommend!

I debated buying this robe for a few days before taking the risk. I'm a review reader, and several prior ones mentioned issues with sizes and shrinkage, but I loved the design and color, so I chewed my nails as clicked the order button. I can honestly say, if one follows the instructions to hang dry, shrinkage doesn't happen. The material is super soft, thin, but surprisingly warm. It's very comfortable to wear to and from the shower, and even keeps me warm when my skin is still a little wet after drying off. Choosing a size was the most difficult part. I'm an agender person, 5'3", 165 LBS, with a chest that's usually fits tightly in a men's large t-shirt, so I ordered the L-XL size. Lengthwise, it falls past my knees (closer to my shins, which is actually my preference). Widthwise, I have to wrap one flap under my arm and belt the other side snuggly or it would be very baggy, gapping in uncomfortable places. For comparison, my partner is 6'0", 230-ish LBS, usually wears a men's XL t-shirt and this same robe fits him well, falling about knee-length, and it closed just fine. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and I'd buy it again.

My husband is always too hot in terry cloth robes, so I got him this one and he just loves it. Yes, it is very lightweight, but the fabric is a dense weave and is good quality. I've seen some reviews complaining about it being too light. Yes, it is very light, but it's perfect for hot weather and climates. Mind you, we live in a ski town in Canada and he wears this in the winter to and from the hot tub. So it's just personal preference. If you want a cushy, soft absorbent robe, this is not for you. If you want something lightweight for a hot evening or relaxing at the beach, this is perfect. Also about the fringe - both my husband and I like it, some reviewers didn't. If you're concerned about the fringe in the washing machine, put the robe in a laundry wash bag.

This is my second bathrobe from this company, the other being at least 3 years old. This was a difficult item to put a star rating on because I really like it yet it has some major flaws.First robe is of a heavier weave, has a longer sash and didn't shrink as much compared to the second robe.I have used peshtemal towels for years and love them. I like the robe very much too but with some caveats:- they run small and then they shrink, at least 4 inches in sleeve and body length, after washing. Maybe the same amount in girth? Order a L/XL for an adult but don't expect it to fit on anyone with heft or over average height.- it was disappointing to find that the material now used is much lighter weight- the tassels unravel easily and it can be tricky to get them twisted together again properly. I just washed robe 1 and had to retie nearly all the bottom hem's tassels.- my preference would be to not have a hood. It's a complete waste, never have I pulled it over my head.- would look better if ironed. the sash is folded and twistedon the plus side- peshtemal!- washes easily and once shrunk seems to stabilize in size- nice coverage to knees- lightweight but not see through- unisex- comfortable- spring to fall suitable
