This is not a null modem adapter. It's wired straight through. Since it's male to female, it's not even a gender changer adapter, it's just a 2" cable extender which never needed to exist...

Came as a straight through connecter. I put it in line expecting to see recieve instead of send on my tester, but no change, so I took it apart and there are no crossed cables, all straight through. I thought it was funny there was no label on it at all.

Adapter is a straight through connection/extension! To make this useful, I will have to resolder it! I can only wonder if the wrong part was shipped.
