RG59/U is a type of coaxial cable connection that meets the industry standard in several applications, including closed-circuit TV (CCTV) video surveillance applications. In other words, this type of cable is often used to connect surveillance monitors, DVRs and cameras used for surveillance.
Our RG59/U cables are constructed using a solid copper center conductor to provide a longer signal and features 95 percent braid coverage for adequate shielding against all types of interference. The 20 AWG, solid core copper conductor provides excellent data transfer for crystal-clear connections. Both ends of the cable are bare-ended, which means that it is ready for any project that you may need it for.

Solid copper high quality coax is what we are using in our 16 channel video security system at our church. Long runs are producing a stable, high def. picture. Instead of Siamese cable we are using this cable and separate, all copper power wires. It is providing a high quality, very reliable video system. Most Siamese video cables are copper clad aluminum.

DId 8 4k cameras with twist on bnc, no lines, no shadowing etc in end. I do wrap my fittings in electrical tape once they are on, and put a wire cover on the lines to protect against uv, rain exposure etc. My longest run is only 100 ft, but if you research, premade cables have issues starting as low as 50 foot, where as these make your own cords have went as far as 250 ft without issues. Do wish I used rg6 for my cable on security camera, but dvr company told me rg59 before I knew what i was getting into. Do your research before buying, but for rg59 and power, this cable did the job fine.
