The Cable Matters 1Gbps SFP to RJ45 Transceiver Module is rated for the extreme demands of Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T). It is designed for maximum equipment compatibility with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and IEEE 802.3ab 1000 BASE-T.

This worked perfectly for my setup. I used it to connect one Ethernet switch to another and then to my PoE switch—no issues at all. It was truly plug-and-play, and the connection has been rock solid. Great quality and compatibility.

I bought this "Cable Matters 1000BASE-T Gigabit SFP to RJ45" transceiver to add a Gigabit port to my customer's Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro Max. It worked perfectly immediately after I connected it to the device. I would buy more in the future if I ever need one again. The price is right too! :)

Just got mine today and can co firm it works for the UniFi Dream Machine Pro. For clarification i got the 1g sfp module, not the 10g sfp+ one.

I purchased this to convert one of my SFP ports on my Unifi USG Pro to copper and it worked right out of the box. It has been running without issues for over a week and this is at a great price. Would definitely recommend this for Unif gear.

This did not work for my UDM Pro and 1g fiber connection, installing it actually slowed down my secondary ISP. I was able to find one that works great from Cable Matters: Cable Matters 10GBASE-T 10 Gigabit SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Ethernet Modular Transceiver for Cisco, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Huawei, Mikrotik, Netgear, and Supermicro EquipmentI think you need the SFP+ to work.

Does not work well with 8 port ubiquiti switch, causes packet loss and dropped connections. Replaced with a ubiquiti branded one and sfp port on switch runs flawlessly… used to buy this brand a lot but these are junk steer clear if using ubiquiti equipment, wasted my money on two of these suckers
