I was skeptical that this would shrink and even more skeptical that it would stay in place. There didn't seem to be any adhesive inside to secure it in place but once I tested a sample it was perfectly secure. It only shrinks to about half to plan accordingly.I will use it on the outside of regular shrink tubing to give it a more textured and finished look for the wiring coming from model kits. I plan to power the led lighting inside the models via USB cables and to make them look less "home made" I will shroud the cabling with it and it will rock.

Not always the easiest thing to use as you have to cut it to fit the longest wiring and then push it out of the way for splicing in other wires. But it is nice you can thread a wire out of it if necessary. Best to hold it to its length you want and then start heating it up, so it will shrink around the wires instead bunching up.
