good sample. I wanted it as a display sample so would have liked a 100% nice new polished finish. Surface had multiple scratches that mar appearance. As metal stock supply it's a good true match to description sample.

So I bought this to use as a weight while working with leather as the brass won't react with the leather like most other metals. After rounding off the corners it works perfectly. Can confirm it is brass for whatever you need brass bar stock for.
